This is in the same museum in Siena. I liked the modern signs in this medieval building.

There is something peaceful about people eating an icecream, especially if it is an Italian one.

This street is like a canyon. I liked the small details at the bottom that were just catching the light.

Again a view on to the beautiful Siena campanile. The clouds in the sky and the balconies made a nice frame for the tower.

This balcony gave onto the shell-shaped central square of Siena. The woman had no eye for the view though.

This is back to Holland after many Italian shots of our holiday in 2008.We went to a wood near one of the estates near Zutphen.

This fine flour mill from the nineteenth century is standing in Warnsveld.

This is part of the intrior of yesterday’s windmill.  They still grind grain there on the days the mill is working. We got a bag of pancake flour.

A few days ago we visited friends with children older than Marius. One of them pushed our son around on his plastic tractor for a long time.
